Kerala Highland Vanilla Pods — Naturally Cured, Intensely Aromatic
These whole vanilla pods are sourced from the lush, mist-covered highlands of Kerala’s Western Ghats — one of the finest vanilla-growing regions in India. Naturally cured using traditional methods, each pod carries a deep, rich vanilla aroma and a complex flavour that processed or artificial vanilla simply cannot match.
Whether you are making homemade vanilla extract, baking a cake, preparing ice cream, or infusing custard — these whole pods will transform your recipe. Once you cook with real vanilla pods, you will never go back to vanilla essence.
Why Whole Vanilla Pods?
- Real flavour, not artificial: The thousands of tiny seeds inside each pod carry concentrated natural vanillin — the compound responsible for true vanilla taste and aroma.
- Multiple uses per pod: Split the pod, scrape the seeds for your recipe, then drop the empty pod into a jar of sugar to make vanilla sugar — nothing is wasted.
- Make your own vanilla extract: Place 3–4 pods in 100ml of vodka or rum, seal, and wait 6–8 weeks. The result is a pure vanilla extract far superior to anything available in stores.
- Natural and chemical-free: No preservatives, no artificial colouring, no additives.

Health Benefits of Natural Vanilla
- Rich in antioxidants that help protect cells from damage and support immunity.
- Traditionally used to help reduce inflammation and support recovery.
- May help lower cholesterol levels when used regularly in diet.
- Antibacterial properties make it useful in natural skin care preparations.
- A natural mood enhancer — the aroma of vanilla is known to reduce stress and anxiety.
How to Store Vanilla Pods
⚠️ Do NOT refrigerate vanilla pods. Refrigeration removes moisture and destroys flavour and aroma.
Store your vanilla pods in the vacuum-sealed pack until use. Once opened, transfer to an airtight glass jar and keep in a cool, dark place — away from direct sunlight. Properly stored, vanilla pods retain their aroma and flavour for at least 1–2 years.
How to Use a Vanilla Pod
- Place the pod flat on a cutting board.
- Using a sharp knife, split the pod lengthwise down the centre.
- Use the back of the knife to scrape out the tiny black seeds.
- Add both the seeds and the empty pod to your recipe for maximum flavour.
- Remove the pod before serving — or drop it in a sugar jar for vanilla sugar.
Sourced from vanilla growers in the Western Ghats highlands of Kerala. Natural product — colour, size, and moisture of pods may vary slightly by season and harvest. This is normal and does not affect quality or flavour.
